Puerto Rican day parade recap
Mecca USA celebrated its second annual
participation at The National Puerto Rican Day
Parade in New York. Along with such guest as DJ
Tony Touch, DJ Doo Wop, Crazy Legs and Puerto
Rican Reggae band sensation Guatabua, the
Mecca/Latinflava.com float was once again one of the
crowd favorites. And if you weren't there you
probably caught us on NBC as our float was featured
in the national television parade coverage.
Three nights prior, Mecca and Latinflava.com also
hosted a pre-parade boat party spun by Tony Touch.
The party was a huge success. Consumers who bought
the limited edition Mecca PR day parade T-shirts
were invited to this exclusive party and the proceeds
from the sale of the tees will be donated to a
Vieques Freedom concert, which is being organized
by our resident activist/designer Hector Estrada.
