Alphanumeric THE PARTY 2000
Twice in a year there are 2 ASR Trade Shows, one in February at Long Beach and the other one is in September at San Diego.
On 9 September 2000, Alphanumeric threw again another party at Downtown San Diego, 852 Fifth Avenue the night before the end of the Trade Show. If you've been to any Alphanumeric party you know what is going on, if not, I'll give you a brief note of Alphanumeric party, It's
always more happening than the previous one!, Just like seeing a new skateboard magazine, you can't wait what to expect and it's always getting doper and doper, it's dope already but will get doper!
The mellow dinner started at 7:00pm and many cats showed up, of course all the Alphanumeric crews, Sal Barbier, Luciano Mor, Miwa from Norbit and
Suppa, Suppa people, Tanaka, Tabo, Makoto, skateboarders like Kien Liu, Kareem Campbell, Jaime Reyes, Jeremy Baye, Mike York, Spencer Fujimoto, Matt Milligan, Lee Smith and more and more, everybody from the industries, Paul and
his partner from Dusty, Jim and wife from Double Dog, not to mention all the beautiful girls in that club.
It's a nice 3 floor club with bars and 2 dancing spots, one on the ground floor and the other one is in the basement. It was packed like the
usual Alphanumeric party but this time it's even crazier, people queued from the outside making the road mad traffic with people.
Music is always so damn amazing, everybody moves their asses listening to the music. No doubt, it's DJ Iron Mike, Almighty Gyvis, SmallyBiggs,
Rage, and Slyed, I don't have to explain about their talent, one word, AMAZING, no one stops dancing listening to their selections.
For real, THUMBS UP to all them brothas! Too bad DJ Style can't make it due to the flu, hope he has recovered already.
Everybody has great time, oh yeah, before the dancing, they were premiering THE DESTROYER, the latest snowboard video, everybody was shouting
WOW,KOOOHH, etc.
I can't wait to check out another Alphanumeric party again at Long Beach! For real, the best party I've been.
